Mens Club Basketball Final

A busy week of basketball here in Dunedin, first the Steven Adams camp on Wednesday, and the the mens club basketball final on Saturday. Congrats to the Mid city Magic, beating a scrappy City Rise Bombers squad.

Mid Winter Carnival

Great time with the kids last night at the mid winter carnival in the Octagon.

Winter wonderland.

Had a great long weekend away at Lake Ohau with the family. Awesome to head up to one of my favourite places, it was a little chilly, but stunning none the less.

Trip up the stunning Eglington Valley.

I always love getting out in to nature with the kids. The road through to Milford is stunning and well worth the trip.

Sunday Funday at the beach.

With Autumn upon us and winter just around the corner, when you get one last chance to hit the beach you have to take it!

A spot of fishing

Was fortunate enough to have a couple of nights away camping at Lake Middleton, a place that is pretty special to me, I have been going there for over 30 years. The Mackenzie country is a greatly under appreciated part of the country in my opinion. Got a few fish, and a few photos, great weekend away.

Bye Bye Summer

What an amazing summer it has been here in Dunedin. Made the most of the last summer evening with a stroll along St Clair beach.

Stunning sunset

I was lazing on the couch when I glanced outside and saw the stunning sunset, I leapt up grabbed my camera and rushed out the door to get these quick snaps..... not bad Dunedin!

Summer Holidays

Summer holidays have been and gone, had a great time in Te Anau with the family. Can't wait to get back in to it, this year is looking like a cracker!

I'm on a boat!

Had so much fun ripping around in a jet boat, surrounded by stunning scenery, on Lake Te Anau, Manapouri, and the upper Waiau River. The trips were run by Fiordland Jet in Te Anau, New Zealand.

Slacking off at Blackhead

Took an hour off today and sat in the sun at Blackhead, roll on summer!

Sunday Funday

Jumped in the car with no destination in mind, somehow ended up at Taieri Mouth and Lake Waihola. I feel pretty blessed to have places like this a stones throw from Dunedin.
